Entrance on the ROCKS

Designing a bar or café - my establishment of décor plays a huge role in people’s enjoyment. If you make a lasting impression, they are sure to recommend the place to their friends – which happens more quickly in the social media-oriented world – Check In’s.

When designing a space, I like to décor it for all the demographics – from students to family, from singles to couples etc. A student who wants to spend $15 for their entire meal whereas a student who wants to spend entire pocket money for drinks – we need right seating for everybody. We also need a place for them to sit if they bring there grandmother, or if it’s a large party. I try to create different zones in the restaurants where if someone walks in the door, they automatically know where they feel comfortable sitting.

P.S. Even though I am creating separate unique spaces for different types of customers, you will want one major element to draw all of them together.

Unique and Trendy

The art of work done by me is unique and trendy. People are trying to get away from the noise of the city and spend vacations in the long-lasting nature and breathe in fresh air. The young generation like to see new décor – and what is better than sticking to your heritage and create a modern living.

The design style is simple, elegant and natural – it gives you tranquillity and peace. The plain walls are mainly made of stone or solid wood that will continue to be in style throughout the seasons and beyond. A cozy and warm living space is built by adopting simple and natural furniture as decoration in the space and through modest structures of the room.

P.S. An idea to try something different for holiday homes. It can also be used as a décor of your residence home as it reflects peace and calmness – nature oriented.

Keeping essentials do’s and don’ts in mind will help you in the long run – you won’t get bored of the designs. Don’t go before the trend, do what you like. Follow your personal style – buy things that will make you smile. Don’t do something for example painting room red because your best friend did it – create your own look and stick to your instincts. Take your time to think about the designs and don’t be discouraged if it does not come out to be perfect in one go. Interior designing is all about the journey of transforming a house into a home, finding uniqueness and building décor that tells a story.

Walk-In Closets Decor

You can think of a closet as a really tiny room for clothes hangers, but why cheat yourself? Just like all household appliances, closets these days come loaded with bells and whistles. Whether it's simply a place to store clothes or a dressing room.

For a closet to work, you have to be able to see what's inside it. Natural light from skylights or windows is a plus. The important thing to keep in mind about artificial light is that it has to be between you and the contents of the closet; if it's behind you, you'll cast a shadow on what you're trying to see.  Closets, more than any other space in the house, work best if you know in advance precisely how you're going to use them. For example, if you bunch socks, they'll need more space than if you roll them. Ditto for shirts: Do you stack them neatly or hang them up? Think about what you wear and how you like to get dressed, and design the space to serve you: most-used items up around eye level, less-used below, and least-used high above. Most closets have too much hanging storage and far too little shelf or drawer storage.

The interesting thing, – with a very modern and bold hi-tech solution for the wall decoration; the wooden furniture blends the interior very well. No doubt, – such a condo ideally fits the requirements of the young people who build a career. You can have a fast meal and quickly clean all the apartment. Remodelling your home; dining, living room, and bedroom room is the best way to increase the value of your house.

My motto to design house is to drag your clients and make them a part of the designing process especially for living rooms – because this is where positivity and life starts. I had clients who buy all their appliances before I start designing which cost me to compensate for my original designs.

The living room is the most important room in the house when it comes to decorating. It's the room where you entertain guests and loved ones, and it's where families tend to spend the bulk of their at-home time together.

Rug placement with respect to furniture placement is one of the important do’s and don’ts that you should follow while remodelling your house.

Dining Area: Keep chairs on the rug, and at least 8” open space around 1 foot of floor. Typical Size of the rug will be 6*9, 8*10, and 9*12.

Living Area: Furniture front legs on the rug; layering rug – top rug 2/3 size of the bottom rug. Typical Size of the rug will be 8*10, 9*12, and 10*14.

Bedroom Area: Rug doesn’t extend the side stands, with at least 8” space open. Typical Size of the rug will be 8*10, and 9*12.

Construction Done - RIght_Elegant

P.S. The construction completed of the shared AutoCAD layout few posts before. The construction came out to be nice and elegant; right and perfect. The decor was designed visualizing the need for entertainment with a fun living healthy spacing. The elements constructed is designed according to the French style with the mixture of Indian art - you will find in the designing of seatings.

Like the name implies, the living room means living your life in it; in there. The living room is to be the most versatile place in our home and is the first thought when we think of decorating our home. They have so many different roles which can make getting the décor a bit of a challenge. For some, the living room is a more formal space reserved primarily for entertaining guests but for others, it's a very casual space. It's where we kick back after a long day to rest and relax or where we spend our long weekend enjoying leisure activities like watching TV and reading.

Typically living rooms have plenty of seating. There's often at least one sofa and a couple of chairs. A complete living room requires tables, bookshelves and other pieces of furniture, all working together in harmony to give the space a cohesive and stylish look.

A complete living room requires tables, bookshelves and other pieces of furniture, all working together in harmony to give the space a cohesive and stylish look.

Chair Decor Completed - Before VS After

It’s not easy to create something different all the time; you have to think, imagine, re-think, design, and do it again until you are satisfied with its uniqueness. Interior designing is all about transforming – before VS after – an idea that would fill the object with life. The artwork that was shared yesterday was the ongoing work for the chair décor. This post will give you the glimpse of all the three transitions i.e. before, during, and after. The completed chair looks like one of the unique with the legs veneer color same as that of cat’s family. The cushion back gives them the comfy appearance which is old but an evergreen look.

P.S. Some of the work done by me for the décor of chairs. Modern and classic chairs provide an iconic look to the house. The AutoCAD image prepared by me is transforming into reality. The work is still under processing and I am sharing some of the images to give you an idea – how work is done. It will be really fascinating to see these chairs are recycled from an old boring design to new modern cushion designed. Will be sharing before after tomorrow when the chairs are completely made.

Do you know? The first ever chair was designed by the London Architecture with the email designed legs – bringing back that trend – zoom and notice the veneer of the chair – looks like the color shade of the cat family.

Theater Room Decor - Avengers

Interiors can wait, Avengers can't

Many homeowners today create multi-function rooms for watching TV, entertaining guests, reading and relaxing with some good tunes or as a children’s playroom – which can be combined into a theatre room. A dedicated home theatre is a room that is precisely designed and engineered to be used for enjoying a movie theatre experience and mood. It’s typically a large projected image or a large TV screen, and the audio is augmented with surround sound and low-frequency subwoofers. Seating is strategically positioned to allow unobstructed viewing and room lighting is carefully controlled.

Location! Location! Location!
Often a home theatre is situated in the basement. A basement is often the “leftover” space in a home where you can afford the space required for a home theatre. It is ideal for a dedicated room because often basements have limited natural light, and if you elect to use a projector the least amount of natural light the better.

P.S. Some of the work done by me – the work is still under process but the client can’t wait to see Avengers on his personal home theatre – so he watched it without the seating ha-ha!! Isn’t that funny? Anyways, you can imagine the vision from the SketchUp art or from the transitions background designed by me.

Original Transitions

A sketch on AutoCAD is the most important tool for an ID. A number 2 pencil, a vision in the head and a hand on the mouse can get the best AutoCAD on the screen. It’s all start with a design if you don’t have an AutoCAD sketched before you start construction, you missing out minor points in designing.

Architect an Eco Vision

If you have the vision to plant trees on Mars, certainly, you can do that. A definite vision, constant mind and an everlasting motivation can build up someone’s dreams. A designer is very sustainable to their moods, you cannot create anything anywhere – do not confuse the creation with collecting an idea anytime, anywhere.

After you create a vision, you have to make sure it gets architect correctly. The tasks called accomplished when there is no inch of discrepancy left. Clamps, clamps and more clamps – arrangement of clamps to make a timber hut. The design is good to create outside the house in a lawn to create an extra space or a sitting area for meditation or games.

P.S. The flow chart created will give you a glimpse of how a vision gets transformed into a living.

P.S. How do you feel when you walk into your home? Happy? Calm? Overwhelmed by your 'to do' list? In today's hectic world stress is always present, but your home shouldn't contribute to it. Your home either nurtures and supports you or it depletes your energy and leaves you exhausted.

Even those rooms that are overlooked or unattended. Create home harmony by making each space in your home inspired. Color impacts you on an emotional, psychological and physical level. Studies have shown that color can change body temperature and appetite. It can affect your mood or level of energy. Begin to become aware of how different colors impact you before determining what hue to paint your walls. Once you gain awareness of the memories that make up your home, notice those items that bring a smile to your face. Begin to add items from fun excursions that will remind you of good times and uplifting people. These items will give you a boost and nurture and inspire you as you move through your home and life.
